Llangan Action Group is a non-political community group working on behalf of local residents. Our aims are to maintain the area’s rural village ambience and ensure any future development is in keeping with the local area. The group was formed in 2012 in order to fight new out of keeping developments that could led to negative impact on the rural area, including increased traffic, school places and unsuitable development. We share a desire to see the village and local area evolve in a way that won’t spoil it for all who live here.
Llangan Action members are not elected and have no formal role in the decision making process of either the Vale of Glamorgan Council. or Llangan Community Council. We keep ourselves abreast of local issues and new proposed developments, update our supporters as required. Residents concerns are heard and give support if require.
All members are unpaid volunteers. Supporter contributions are mainly used for administrative costs, legal fees, court action, planning objections etc.
