Interested in one of these new homes?
Llangan CC, in partnership with Newydd HA and the Vale of Glamorgan Council, has agreed a local lettings scheme so that those in housing need in the local community will be given priority for these new homes. For instance, if you live, have immediate family, work or are retiring from tied accommodation you will be given priority. This priority only applies if you live in certain areas. The highest priority will be given to the communities if Llangan, Treoes, St. Mary Hill and Ruthin, followed by the communities of Penllyn, City, Graig Penllyn, Pentre Meyrick and Llansannor, and then the surrounding areas.
You are strongly advised to read the lettings policy, which explains the priorities. The full policy is available via this link:
How do you apply?
To apply for one of these homes, you must be registered with Homes4U the lettings service operated by the Vale of Glamorgan Council and Newydd HA. So, if you are not currently registered we advise you to do so as soon as possible.
The new homes will be let in accordance with the Homes4U scheme to ensure fairness and that those in the greatest need get rehoused first.
Full details of the Homes 4U scheme and how you can register are available on the Vale of Glamorgan Council’s website and by following this link:
